  • Abstract
    We fabricate highly nonlinear and mechanically robust step-index chalcogenide nanotapers with high index contrast for stable mid-infrared supercontinuum generation. By pumping the nanotapers with low peak-power pulses, one-octave of spectral broadening was generated.
