Abstract
Web services evolve over their life time. As the evolution occurs, corresponding structure and functions of Web service will change. The evolution of web service involves many reasons, such as changes of service´s version, changes of service´s interface, changes of behaviors, changes of requirements, problems of service´s compatibility and so on. In this paper, we first analyze and compare the current solutions of Web service evolution by means of granularity of evolution, terminal of evolution, type of evolution, scalability and maintainability, then we discuss the future research directions.
