Abstract :
Voltage sag or instant power loss often happens in power supply system in the thermal power plant. Aiming at settling the problem of the serious power plant accidents that the low voltage protection of the inverter is blocked, boiler main fuel is tripped, auxiliary equipment is stopped, and the generator units is non-planed acted by voltage instability, the inverter low voltage ride through power(ILP) is researched and developed. It is composed of multiphase and multiple boost hardware topology, the fast detection of grid voltage sag and the single neuron PID control strategy that is formed by taking values of output error square as performance index and so on. The simulation result can be referenced during the choosing of ILP hardware electrical parameters and control strategy of software. The simulation and test result show that ILP has superior dynamic and static output characteristics and the problem of low voltage ride through of inverter can be successfully settled.
