  • Abstract
    Once an electric current arc occurs at any air gap, it will grow even at low voltage, if sufficient current source is available. This paper illustrates a phenomenon of initiating the current arc in LV Distribution Board of 11/0.4kV substation which develops to short circuit between phases that result in severe fire damages of substation.
