Abstract :
In this paper, a control system of the self-propelled electrostatic sprayer is designed with the demand of the controlling capability. Then the system was tested and an operation mode by separating the human from the machine is achieved. Through the test, it shows that the control system can meet the requirements of the design purposes. All of the functions, including running, steering, target detection, electrostatic spraying, can be realized by operating a wireless remote control device. The system was improved based on the problems from the testing process. Finally, a control system with high capability which achieves the designed goals for the self-propelled electrostatic sprayer is obtained. It is expected that it will provide big help in the agriculture industry and landscaping.
