Abstract :
Cloud computing is growing in popularity among computing paradigms, but in practice the energy consumption of the cloud data centers is very high. In this paper, we propose a balanced scheduling algorithm for virtual cloud resources based on dynamic power-aware, which not only takes into account how to effectively reduce the power consumption, but also considers how to keep the cloud data centers balanced and meet the user´s Quality-of-Service (QoS) requirements. The simulation results prove that our algorithm is able to efficiently allocate and manage the virtual resources. And compared with other traditional algorithms, our algorithm can significantly minimize the amount of violations of QoS and effectively reduce the energy consumption.
