Abstract
The paper applies the Digital Recorded Algorithm (DRA) to evaluate the characteristic parameters of conventional overcurrent relays. Based on Singular Value Decomposition, the curves are fitted with an equation in state space under modal coordinates. Then, this study compares the DRA with the Adaptive Network and Fuzzy Inference System. Finally, compares with the average of absolute values of percentage errors of coefficient analytical model, fuzzy and six Adaptive Network and Fuzzy Inference System models, and DRA method for RSA20 relay and also demonstrates its accuracy and identification robustness.
