Abstract :
A Passat diesel car is fuelled with 0%, 10%, 20% coal-to-liquid fuel and diesel blends. The emission characteristics of each fuel on NEDC test cycle are studied by Engine Exhaust Particle Sizer(EEPS) and running drum tester. The result shows that, when blended with coal-to-liquid fuel, the peak of particle number concentration in the whole NEDC test cycle is reduced; the peak of particle number concentration of unclear mode and accumulation mode in typical working condition are both cut down distinctly; the particle number concentration of each particulate size is averagely decreased by two orders of magnitude.
