Abstract
The rapid development of the Internet media makes the existence and development of the traditional TV media to confront the challenges and tests which daily being more serious. TV media is making transition to the new media with characteristics of the Internet. This paper introduces a novel framework for interactive mobile multimedia service in the public transports. It combines the terrestrial television broadcast system with the mobile communication networks, using the broadband broadcasting channel to deliver multimedia contents to the vehicular terminals. And the terminal provides Web service to the passengers via vehicular Wi-Fi networks. Therefore the passengers in the public transports can access the specific Web sites with high quality video service and get better experience, thus makes the value of media promoted.
