Abstract
Quality of Experience (QoE) has proven to be more than a buzzword, acting complementary to QoS. By combining utility-based QoS provisioning and dynamic user-driven quality adaptation, we demonstrate a novel framework capable of optimizing users´ experience in an all-IP 3GPP environment, taking into account content, context, user and network information. Our approach is built in line to the IMS-architecture and is validated by real users, leading to the derivation of exploitable business plans with respect to the creation of a user-centric mobile multimedia service delivery framework.
