Abstract
Wireless multi-hop networks (WMHNs) are meant to be flexible, scalable, adaptable, and robust. In addition, some types of WMHNs expose properties such as self-organization or self-healing which renders them suitable for safety-critical application scenarios such as disaster management. One of the main goals in these scenarios is to provide a certain network lifetime in conjunction with a guarantee on a specific degree of resilience in order to enable communication during the required time period. In order to achieve this goal, self-organization on several layer needs to be combined. In this poster we present a solution that integrates self-organization from social bio-inspired networking and control theory.
