Abstract :
This paper deals with the modeling and control of an electrical source for the future “All Electric” aircraft. It is constituted by a rotor wounded synchronous generator and a diode rectifier feeding the DC power system. Using H∞ control theory, this paper shows that usual disturbance rejection standards can not be met with such an electrical power source and new standards should be defined. Simulations on an exact nonlinear model of the power source are used for control validation.
