Abstract
This paper presents the application of Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) methods in the design of integrated vehicle control systems, in which active components are used in co-operation. In the control design besides performance specifications and uncertainties, it is possible to take fault information into consideration. By monitoring suitable scheduling parameters in the LPV control, the reconfiguration of the control systems can be achieved, conflict between performance demands can be avoided and faults (loss in effectiveness) can be handled.
