  • Abstract
    A bilinear robust observer is considered for a class of discrete. singular, bilinear descriptor systems subject to unknown inputs. Firstly, existence and causality of solutions are addressed. Then a bilinear observer is proposed which is based on the solution of a Riccati equation and on the use of a quadratic Liapunov function. A design algorithm is given and applied to a practical example.
