  • Abstract
    A design method is presented to insert, as well as place zeros, so that together with the standard pole placement technique, the desired system characteristics can be obtained from the given process dynamics. The insertion of zeros facilitates designing the zeros of the desired controller. An example is given to illustrate the results.
