Abstract :
In this paper we develop some results for the characterization and analysis of stability for nonlinear feedback systems under the influence of generalized disturbances. That is, the disturbances do not take the form of additive disturbances within the closed loop, as is often assumed to be the case. Coprirne image and kernel representations are introduced as generalizations of right and left coprirne factorizations of linear operators. These results are expected to lead to a generalization of the Youla parameterization.
