Abstract
The behavioral framework is used to formalize an adaptive control problem in which input and output variables are not explicitly distinguished. For an unknown linear time-invariant dynamical system an adaptive controller is synthesized which achieves an internally stable controlled system which matches an a-priori given frequency response characteristic.
