  • Abstract
    We generalize to subsets of the unit circle various approximation problems of Adamjan-Arov-Krein type. Both the approximation and the completion issues are treated and linked together. The given solutions are used to solve band-limited versions of the Nevanlinna-Pick problem. The results impinge on robust identification and inverse problems.
