Abstract :
In Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) packet transmission is very important, with the existing routing protocol like ad hoc on demand distance vector (AODV), signal stability based adaptive routing (SSA) the packet format for sending the message and processing takes more time, but with new generation personal computer which we use, comes with high end configuration. With the help of this latest trends and technologies, we can further increase the performance of the data transfer in MANET. For increasing the performance, we have proposed a Message Priority and Fast Routing (MPFR) method, which prioritizes the packet with high priority and also it reduces the processing time of the packets. Through MPFR routing the packet interval time is reduced in queuing of each node that makes each node to release the packet faster which will decrease the packet delivery time at receiver. In this paper AODV mechanism and our proposed method MPFR is compared. We analyse performance of these systems with help of parameterslike packet delivery ratio, average end to end delay, throughput and analysis is done in graphical form.
