Abstract
Perovskite solar cells have opened a potential market for the low cost manufacturing technics based solar cells which can change the photovoltaic (PV) production road map. Apart from the demonstrated high conversion efficiencies, these cells need to be analysed under real climatic conditions to understand their real performance. This communication aims to study the spectral dependence at selected locations with disparate climate conditions. Perovskite solar cells have shown significant dependence on the incident spectral distribution due to their strong absorption in the UV region. The influences of spectral variations on the performance of perovskite solar cells have been studied under different atmospheric conditions. The demonstrated spectral losses by the perovskite solar cells in different climatic conditions are vital for the perovskite solar cell community to improve the stability further.
