Abstract :
The problems related to nonlinear observer design for on-line parameter estimation are considered with application to diagnosis in dynamic systems. An approach is proposed for observer design involving nonlinear transformation of extended parameterized system model. The properties of diagnostic procedure are investigated. The results are demonstrated for SISO nonlinear forced-motion model of underwater vehicle.
