  • Abstract
Wireless sensor Networks are raising their capabilities and usability in various fields. It´s an emerging field gaining importance day by day. Wireless Sensor Networks is collection of tiny micro electro mechanical sensors which are deployed together to observe certain phenomena of interest. Sensors sense the data which is at last collected by base station. Clustering is concept to reduce the cost of routing from sensors to base station as it had been observed that major of energy part is used in routing of information. In this paper, we take a survey of the current work that has been done in area of clustering protocols. After that this paper will also show the results of our proposed clustering Protocol MEDC. We give the gist of Information Fusion in Wireless Sensor Networks and describe the various methods of change point detection and then show how they are being utilized in various research works.
