Abstract :
Cloud computing is a technology through which data can be stored and access at remote server without the installation of software and hardware being done at client side. The massive use of cloud computing also increases severe security concerns to cloud storage. The weakness in user´s authentication process and lack of effective security policy in cloud storage leads to many challenges in cloud computing. We propose a scheme that not only provides security of user´s private data of storing and accessing over the cloud but also authentication of the user to the cloud server using Elliptic curve cryptography.
