  • Abstract
Software development process leads to the delivery of high-quality software product that satisfies the user requirements. Accordingly, the developed software product should be able to change or evolve after delivery. AOSD aims at encapsulating crosscutting concerns through a new construct class like Aspect and localize the change. Hence, it encapsulates the behavior affecting multiple classes into the reusable module. Moreover, the software maintenance is not only to correct faults but also to extend the software for implementing new or changed user requirements which concerns functional enhancement hence a new maintainability model is proposed for AOSD with extensibility as sub characteristic. As every proposed model requires evaluation hence in order to evaluate the proposed maintainability model we had used Analytical Hierarchy process (AHP) as an approach.
