Abstract :
We consider the problem of motion of a rotationally symmetric ellipsoid on a fixed perfectly rough plane. Using the Kovacic algorithm we found several cases when equations of motion of the ellipsoid can be completely solved in quadratures with the additional restrictions on the parameters of the ellipsoid - its semiaxes and moments of inertia.
