Abstract
With the evolution of PC client platforms and their form factors, the dominating RFI sources of the past may no longer be relevant. This paper discusses the latest trends and challenges concerning RFI issues in current or future mobile devices. High-speed differential I/O, integrated voltage regulator (IVR), and double-data-rate (DDR) memory are the emerging RFI concerns and are studied with theoretical and experimental methods. Intelligent hardware and software solutions are discussed and developed to mitigate the latest RFI issues in mobile devices.
