Abstract
An all fiber Mach-Zehnder Interferometer was developed for high sensitive sensor applications and its performance was optimized with different light sources: Distributed Feed-Back (DFB) fiber, Semiconductor diode lasers and Amplified Spontaneous Emission (ASE) source. A suitable low noise, high bandwidth electronics detection system was also developed for this. The optical path difference of the interferometer and light source parameters were altered in this study for its optimum performance and the results are discussed.
