  • Abstract
    It was with interest that we have read the `Design and analysis of a decade bandwidth 180° hybrid coupler´ paper by Chan et al. The design presented in this paper seems to be repetition of the work done by DuHamel and Armstrong and Tresselt. In both cases the Klopfenstein taper is employed in order to design the coupled-line distributed structures.
