AAtS: A collaborative ATM pathfinder in support of a TBO environment

• AAtS will Provide enhanced situational awareness • AAtS functionality: • Enables the aircrew to become an informed participant in collaborative decision making (CDM) • Supports strategic flight planning • Enables broadband information exchanges between aircrew, dispatchers, and ANSPs • AAtS services / CDM may be applicable during all flight-operation phases, including: • Flight Planning, and Pre-departure; • Taxi-out, Takeoff, and Departure; • Cruise, Approach, and Arrival; • Landing and Taxi-in; and • Post-arrival. • Collaborative decisions will yield operational improvements and performance efficiencies.
