Abstract
In this study, sound target localization in a two dimensional microphone array is investigated. A set of incoming data to the sensors is collected in an experimental simulation field consists of a 16 Microphone array system. The survey includes analysis of the results obtained by applying Gaussian noise to the sensor inputs as well as analysis of the results to obtain better SNR. Specifically, adaptive filters and MSE techniques are applied to localize targets in a 2-D microphone array. For evaluating the method, five experiments have been arranged. The experimental results indicate the success of the algorithm in the two dimensional array microphone set.
