Abstract
This paper introduces a self-mediator software solution based on multi-agent technology for a sensor network application in the area that requires complex centralized processing of large quantities of data in real time. There is described an architecture for a distributed sensor network based on a self-mediator concept that provides P2P interaction of autonomous intelligent devices. To implement this solution it is proposed to partially process the data by autonomous devices without transmitting it to the server and adapt sampling intervals on the basis of the non-equidistant time series analysis. The solution is illustrated by the results of its implementation in computer-aided medical diagnostics.
