Abstract :
The paper describes the design of electromechanical vibration generator (EMVG) for converting ambient vibration energy into electrical energy. Such a device acts as main part of the autonomous power supply for low-energy electronic systems and sensors which can be used in information and measurement systems without wires, needs for replacement and maintenance for a long service life. The mathematical model of steady-state EMVG is obtained. Prototype of EMVG is described and experimental results presented. Experimental results are given for its output voltage as a function of vibration amplitude and frequency. The generator has been shown to produce an average output voltage of 3-6 V. It is experimentally obtained the transient changes of output voltage EMVG for frequency´s jump from 2 to 5 Hz.
