Abstract
Phase difference measurement of interfering radio signals is an essential part of radio-interferometric positioning applications. In this paper a novel phase measurement system is proposed, which is able to accurately measure the phase difference of the received radio signals, even in the presence of significant measurement noise. The suggested measurement system can be operated on inexpensive elements with very limited computing capabilities (e.g. on 8-bit microcontrollers). The performance of the proposed system is illustrated with real measurements results.
