  • Abstract
This paper deals with the issue of temperature effect on hardness of armour. An equation was derived, which allows us to solve this dependence. The proposed procedure was verified by the Ansys Autodyn software, and the results obtained demonstrated that analytical and numerical modelling are consistent. It has been proven that within the temperature interval from -40 °C to +80 °C the change of hardness was only in units of Brinell hardness.
