Abstract
Sketch-based method is widely used in lots of applications. However, a simple transfer of the sketch-based method to mobile platform is not acceptable for game applications, since they have very strict latency requirements and less tolerance for sketch recognition ambiguity. In this paper we propose an efficient and unambiguous approach for sketch-based game manipulation. Special gestures and recognition algorithm designed only for games help accelerate input, reduce latency and avoid ambiguity. The gestures are simple but tolerant, easy to encode, and the recognition algorithm is able to give the unique correct result as soon as the sketching is completed without any selection or confirmation mechanism.
