Abstract
This research investigates the design of a three-phase tilt motor using response surface methodology to replace the surface permanent magnet motor (SPM) in single-phase torque actuator. A model of both the SPM and the torque actuator by comparative analysis using the FEM (Finite Element Method) is verified through actual test.
