Abstract :
Distribution Network Reconfiguration had important significance for the safe operation of distribution network. To solve the problem, an improved ant colony algorithm was proposed to solve the distribution network reconfiguration. a new pheromone update strategy and slip selection strategy with the factor exploration rate were given, it promoted convergence speed and control accuracy of ant colony algorithm and prevent the algorithm falling into local optimum. Finally, the improved algorithm was simulated to solve distribution network reconfiguration, Simulation results show that the improved ant colony algorithm was applied effectively with fast convergence rate and could obtain optimum solution to solve the problem of distribution network reconfiguration.
