Abstract :
Strong nonlinearity and operating conditions´ complexity of reversible unit in pumped storage power station make it unable to establish the mathematical model that can accurately describe its dynamic characteristics through theoretical study or model test. Aiming at reversible unit´s inherent nonlinearity and parameter uncertainty, the nonlinear description of pump turbine´s characteristics is proposed and reversible unit´s nonlinear model of which unknown parameters can be linearized is established; on that basis, its adaptive control law is studied. Simulations manifest that the control law can achieve excellent dynamic and steady-state performances under different conditions, and it has good adaptability to the unit´s strong nonlinearity and parameter variations.
