Abstract :
Gyrowheel is a torque-generating and measurement mechanism that can be used for three-dimensional attitude control and two-dimensional angular velocity measurement of spacecraft. From an actuator perspective, the characteristics of torque output are analysed according to the mechanical structure and based on the kinematic analysis. Two kinds of control modes of torque output of gyrowheel are presented, and their comparison is illustrated by some numerical simulations.
