  • Abstract
Electrification and complexity of hybrid, and electric vehicles from AC (L1/L2/L3)/DC(L1/L2) charging is increasing rapidly with wide varieties of charging architecture within the vehicle, and simple/complex EVSE´s. This panel will concentrate on the following topics: Definition of commonly used terms in AC/DC charging from vehicle/EVSE, Charging standards: North American, Asian, and European, Interoperability: Standards, and Goals for standard groups (i.e.: Increase interoperability between the vehicle, and EVSE in a safe manner). Commonly observed interoperability issues, Vehicle Architecture, Simple/Complex EVSE´s, Scheduled charging and Charging HMI: Vehicle, and EVSE, Next steps in Charging.
