Abstract
Fractal analysis has become a popular method in all branches of medicine. This paper presents solution for the space-filling and the shape of two dimensional image of some object. This idea was applied in analysis of morphology of neuronal images from the adult human dentate nucleus. The box dimensions of binary and outline images were statistically investigated with dendrite field area and circularity ratio, respectively. The findings of the present study are in accordance with previous qualitative data.
