Abstract :
The paper is devoted to a video conferencing applications designed for a robotic system that is intended to support a remote medical examination. The key features of the video conferencing applications have been derived from the results of users requirements studies. These applications are an integral part of GUI of the robotic system and they have been implemented exclusively using the open source software technology.
