Abstract :
X-ray emission from a neon plasma produced in Sahand as a Filippov type plasma focus is studied. Detecting system used in our experiments is a five channels pin diode detector. Linear soft x-ray emission from neon gas at different charging voltage and 0.25 Torr working pressure is studied and optimum condition for production x-ray is obtained. Result shows that for this working pressure at 12 kV x-ray production has a maximum energy.
