Abstract
Recently, a “listen-and-talk” (LAT) protocol for full-duplex (FD) cognitive radio networks (CRNs) has been proposed to allow simultaneous sensing and transmission of secondary users (SUs). However, sensing impairment due to self-interference remains a major problem in the FD protocol. In this paper, we explore the cooperative spectrum sensing (CSS) scheme to improve sensing reliability in FD CRNs. Also, we consider the robustness of the proposed scheme against the possible existence of misbehaving nodes. The interference from the transmitting SU to other SUs leads to significant difference between the proposed CSS scheme and conventional half-duplex ones. Specifically, we adopt a confidence-only report rule and a weighted majority fusion rule to alleviate the interference issue and impact of abnormal nodes, respectively.
