  • Abstract
    Kubelka-Munk theory is an intuitive theory that approximates the flow of power through a plane parallel slab of a scattering medium. We derive it from the radiative transport equation and generalize it to three dimensions, accounting for general boundary sources and non-homogeneous terms.
