Big data analysis: Issues and challenges

To began with Data about data and data in data is big data. In this paper, we study about the history and the emergence of big data. We explore how traditional DBMS couldn´t compete with large data and big data began to emerge in a big way. Issues and challenges of big data and the tools currently used to implement and analyze the big data are detailed. As to how Indexing techniques like MapReduce are applied to Big Data and it´s applicability in many applications like, anagram, Mutual Friend Problem, Word Count etc. and the other worldwide applications of big data are also discussed .For the sake of completeness a broad comparison of different data mining techniques too has been presented.
