Abstract
In this paper mainly focused on the implementation of novel topology in a series connection of battery voltages in 7-level asymmetrical cascaded multilevel inverter (ACMLI) help to reduced the total harmonic distortion (THD) output level and higher the number of different level generated. This topology consist a design structure of fundamental block connected in series. It is various advantages compared to the other multilevel inverter in terms of low dv/dt stresses, smaller rating, output voltage boosting capability, higher power capability, lower distortion of the output voltage. The paper presents of different types of modulation techniques based multicarrier level shifted pulse width modulation (PWM) and Finally simulation results of asymmetrical cascaded seven-level multilevel topology are carried out using MATLAB/simulink R2013a software version.
