Abstract :
An accurate sinusoid frequency estimation method based on DFT and the argument of the sample autocorrelation function is proposed in this paper. Frequency moving method is used after coarse estimation is made by DFT. And then the fine estimation is implemented based on the argument of the sample autocorrelation function. The Monte Carlo simulation results show that the root mean square error is close to the Cramer-Rao Lower Bound in the whole discrete frequency region, and SNR threshold is relatively low. The proposed method outperforms M&M method, Mrife method and Candan´s method.
