Abstract
Ultra Wide-Band technology has a lot of advantages, such as low power, anti-multipath interference ability, high security, low system complexity, especially high precision in location. It has become a potential technology of indoor wireless location system. Based on location technology of the time difference of arrival (TDOA), a joint location method based on the Taylor and Chan algorithms is proposed. The simulation has been completed to comparing the algorithms. The design of indoor ultra-wideband wireless location system on FPGA development platform is completed. This paper focuses on the frame structure of the base band signal, the selection of the spreading code, the pulse generation and the synchronization capture. Verilog language is used to design and simulate each part module of the indoor UWB location system.
