Abstract
Treatment of ammunition destroyed wastewater, which was wastewater of 2, 4, 6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) had been explored using the combined method of electrolysis and H2O2. This study focused on the removal efficiency of TNT under various operating conditions. Among the parameters which affect the treatment, attention was given to voltage, H2O2 concentration, Fe2+ concentration, pH and the reaction time. And the optimum operating conditions of the factors were obtained. After treatment, the removal rate of TNT reached 70%. In addition, the removal efficiencies of TNT by the combined method of electrolysis and H2O2 and Fenton method respectively were compared. The results showed that the removal rate of TNT of the combined method was much higher than that of Fenton method.
